Victor E. Navarro, General Manager, has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is responsible for strategy and vision, operations, and financial performance for three Global Excel companies: Olympus Managed Healthcare, Choice Net International, and Healthcare Concierge Services. Prior to assuming the leadership role at Olympus, he held several leadership roles at MF Global, Aon, AIG and most recently as President of Royal & Sun Alliance in the US. Victor graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Business Administration and also holds a M.B.A. from University of Florida.
Roberto Ruadez, Director of Client Services, has over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry, he started his career at Federal Assist ( Mapfre Affiliate) in 1994. Roberto was then recruited to Olympus in 2000, where he developed the company’s call center process and protocols. In 2005 he was promoted to Director of Client Services and has headed up several departments to include call center, case coordination intake and the account management/ client services area. He has trained and mentored a great part of the workforce at Olympus in the last 15 years. During his time at Olympus he has implemented several plans and processes to ensure customer satisfaction and client retention. Most recently he developed the concept and has worked closely the project management team and information technology on the development of Athena, a tool which will decrease department training time, improve accuracy, efficiency and service levels to our customers, their member and our providers.
Caridad S. Acevedo, RN, BSN, CCM , MBA Director of Operations. Caridad “Carrie” Acevedo joined Olympus in 1999 as a Nurse Case Manager and assisted in the development of the Case Management Department. In 2000, she received her CCM (Certified Case Manager) appointment from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC). After serving as Director of Account Management for 3 years, she was promoted to Director of Operations in 2005. Carrie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Florida International University in Miami, Florida in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration in Health Administration from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida in 2007.
Richard Lackey, Director of Information Technology, has over twenty-five years of Information Technology experience with a strong background in both systems development and infrastructure management. He has a BS degree from Bluefield State College; has completed Florida International University’s Advanced Project Management program; and has several technical certifications including Microsoft Certified DBA and ITIL Foundations 3.0. Richard has a diverse business background including call center, supply chain, patient care case management, mortgage origination, and finance. He started his career with Electronic Data Systems and has held senior technology consulting roles with Compuware Corporation, ATT, Kemper National Insurance, and Vitas Hospice Corporation. Richard has been with Olympus since 2008 and has assembled the technical team which has implemented numerous projects over the years to support the growth of the business.
Ryan Lee, Director of Global Initiatives has 20 years industry experience through prior roles at ISA Ltd, Siemens and Mapfre Asistencia. Ryan has worked in many capacities of corporate development including Marketing, Sales, Project and General Management. His work with domestic and international Insurers/Administrators within the International Health Insurance industry has fostered a thorough understanding of claims management, cost containment, network development and assistance services. Ryan studied Economics/Philosophy at University of Western Ontario and is currently enrolled in the University of Toronto’s SCS Business Management program.
